Meet Lisa Jones

In another life… I have always been an architectural enthusiast. I have some favorites, such as Gothic architecture, which always has me visiting churches when I am traveling to Europe. When I was younger, I thought of designing a cathedral. On the newer front, I am a huge fan of both Craftsman and Mid-Century Modern architecture. I was drawn to my current house, an old Baltimore rowhome, because of its elaborate woodwork and exposed brick walls.

Advice? Surround yourself with people who genuinely support you and are not afraid to tell you when you are wrong. Try to ignore the inside voice that says that you don’t belong. You worked hard to get here, and you deserve it as much as anybody else. Learn to say no when you can. And have fun!
