
Friederike Winkhaus
Friederike Winkhaus completed her PhD in biochemistry on the regulation of HCN2 (hyperpolarization activated cyclic nucleotide-gated potassium channel 2) pacemaker channels at the Center of Advanced European Studies and Research (CAESAR) in Bonn, Germany. Then she undertook her postdoctoral research training at the Nestlé Research Center in Lausanne, Switzerland. At Nestlé, Friederike was involved in a pet food project studying the feline taste system to identify palatability drivers. Since February 2014, she has been working in the analytical development department of Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, Germany. Here, Friederike is leading a project on the development of a microchip capillary electrophoresis assay for the QC environment.
